Waiting for the Cristmas

A bright red amaryllis, the flower of Christmas and of hope, rises tall against a cloudy sky through which a shimmer of light breaks. This festive still life, with evergreen branches, ornaments and a reflective glass vase, was created in the studio on an overcast day shortly before Christmas, bringing warmth and light to the season.
