Magnolia in bloom

I painted this picture outdoors in Setagaya Park in Vienna, during the full bloom of the magnolias. The expressive branches and the bright pink blossoms stood out beautifully against the soft spring sky. I focused on capturing the light, the air and the shifting colours of the petals, which range from a deep pink to a delicate blush. This painting reflects a fleeting spring moment — full of freshness, lightness and quiet joy.
