Green Companions

This painting was created over a long period, during which I experimented with a layering technique. It captures a special moment in May in Austria, when my son and I came upon sheep in lush green pastures. A mother sheep and her lamb looked at us curiously, as if to ask: “How are you? Where are you going?” I wanted to express this curiosity in this multi-layered composition.
