Drift in Grey Light

This plein-air picture, painted in gouache directly from the deck of a catamaran, captures the quiet beauty of a cloudy morning on the Croatian coast. A personal memory of travel, nature and the sea. It was my first experience of spending the night on a catamaran in pouring rain, unable to go ashore or enjoy the sun.
