Wisteria Breeze

I painted this work en plein air in the gardens of Schönbrunn in Vienna, where wisteria blooms in soft cascades of violet and light. There was a strong wind, and at times I had to hold the canvas with one hand while painting with the other. The blossoms were constantly moving, and I followed their rhythm, focusing on light, color, and atmosphere rather than detail. The air was filled with the beautiful scent of flowers, which deeply inspired me as I worked. For me, this painting captures the fleeting beauty of spring — light, movement, and the quiet joy of being present under blooming wisteria.
