I painted this work during a plein air session in Alanya, where the weather kept changing every hour, from soft rain to sudden sunlight. This shifting atmosphere gave the scene a special softness, with colors constantly transforming on the water and the boats. I was drawn to the quiet dialogue between the two boats. One feels warm and lively, the other calm and reserved, as if they are resting side by side after a long day. The reflections in the water, the tension of the ropes, and the muted palette all come from observing this fleeting moment in nature. For me, this painting is about balance, connection, and the peaceful rhythm of coastal life.
